Last updated: July 13, 2026 · Guidance for buyers, sellers, and riders on the Orderer Platform
Your safety matters to us. This page explains how Orderer protects you, and what you can do to stay safe while buying, selling, or arranging deliveries.
Verified Sellers
Sellers go through a registration and review process before they can list on Orderer.
Secure Payments
Payments are processed through PCI-compliant partners — your card details are never stored on our servers.
Live Delivery Tracking
Track your rider in real time from pickup to drop-off on every Orderer delivery.
Easy Reporting
Report a listing, message, or user in a couple of taps — our Trust and Safety team reviews every report.
1. Staying Safe as a Buyer
- Always complete payment through Orderer's checkout — never send money directly to a seller outside the Platform.
- Read listing descriptions, photos, and reviews carefully before purchasing.
- Keep all communication about your order within Orderer's messaging system so there's a record if something goes wrong.
- If a deal feels "too good to be true," or a seller pressures you to pay off-platform, treat it as a warning sign and report it.
- Inspect items on delivery where possible, and report any issue promptly through your order page.
2. Staying Safe as a Seller
- Only ship or fulfil orders once payment is confirmed through Orderer.
- Be accurate and honest in your listings — misleading descriptions put your account at risk and harm buyer trust.
- Never share your account password, OTPs, or wallet PIN with anyone, including someone claiming to be from Orderer support.
- Watch for buyers who ask you to cancel an Orderer order and complete the sale privately — this removes Orderer's protections for both parties and is against our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Report suspicious buyer behaviour, including fraudulent payment claims or harassment.
3. Delivery Safety
- All deliveries booked through Orderer can be tracked live from pickup to drop-off.
- Confirm the delivery partner name and vehicle details in the app match the person arriving before handing over a package.
- Use the in-app "Contact the delivery drivers or couriers" feature rather than sharing your personal phone number directly.
- If a delivery drivers or couriers behaves unsafely, asks for extra payment outside the app, or you feel unsafe for any reason, end the interaction and report it immediately.
4. Account & Payment Security
- Use a strong, unique password for your Orderer account and enable any available two-factor security options.
- Orderer will never ask for your password, OTP, or full card number by phone, email, or chat. If someone does, it is not us — report it.
- Log out of shared or public devices after use.
- Check that any Orderer email comes from an official @ordererweb.com address before clicking a link or entering your details.
5. Recognizing Common Scams
5.1 Off-Platform Payment Requests
A user asks you to pay or be paid outside Orderer's checkout — for example via direct bank transfer "to save on fees." This removes Orderer's dispute protection and is a major red flag.
5.2 Phishing Messages
Emails, texts, or in-app messages that impersonate Orderer and ask you to "verify your account" by entering your password or card details on a link. Genuine Orderer communications never request this.
5.3 Fake Support Contacts
Scammers posing as "Orderer support" on social media or third-party chat apps. Orderer support only operates through the official Help Center, in-app chat, and @ordererweb.com email addresses.
5.4 Unrealistic Deals
Listings priced far below market value, especially for high-value electronics or properties, are frequently used to lure buyers into off-platform payment. Treat these with extra caution.
⚠ If anyone asks you to pay outside Orderer's checkout, or asks for your password/OTP, stop the conversation and report it immediately.
6. Protecting Minors
Orderer requires all users to be 18 years or older. If you believe a minor is using the Platform inappropriately, or you encounter content that endangers a child in any way, report it immediately using the steps below — these reports are treated with the highest priority and, where required, referred to law enforcement.
7. How to Report a Safety Concern
If something doesn't feel right, tell us right away:
- Use the "Report" button available on any listing, message, order, or user profile;
- Open a support ticket from your Help Center dashboard;
- Email our Trust and Safety team directly: trust@ordererweb.com;
- For active security vulnerabilities or hacking attempts, contact security@ordererweb.com instead.
Please include as much detail as you can — order numbers, usernames, screenshots, and dates all help us investigate quickly.
In immediate danger?
If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services first — then let us know so we can assist and take any necessary Platform action.
8. What Happens After You Report
Every report is reviewed by our Trust and Safety team. Depending on what we find, we may warn the user, remove content, suspend or terminate an account, withhold funds, or refer the matter to law enforcement authorities. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith. For more on enforcement, see our Acceptable Use Policy.
